HOW OUR PROGRAMS WORK
Our programs primarily focus on self-acknowledging, mastering and harnessing the participant’s potential and then applying that potential to achieve their goals in self and future.
The focus is not on riding or horsemanship although they will learn those skills. No horse experience is necessary. During the interaction with horses, the participant will build a relationship that nurtures a sense of working with themselves in the horse. The participant will improve their day-to-day decision making, increase their personal insight, and learn to manage life’s dilemmas and transitions. They learn to create healthy behavioral boundaries and expand their capacity for good and positive relationships.
What you Learn:
You will learn from your equine mentor, your authentic self, the power in body language, the mental and emotional skills that dissolve fears and obstacles in your life.
Each activity and exercise is custom designed to maximize the progressive learning potential of self-development and focuses on developing individual skills as they work through each interactive group challenge
The participants will work to develop emotional control, accept responsibility and accountability while overcoming barriers that inhibit change that fosters creativity and innovation. Through the lessons learned in the program they will find opportunity in working together to realize the benefits of effective communication. They will also recognize the benefit of mutual trust, respect bonding, energy transferring, and personal Integrity.
Teens Voice USA’s strategy is to achieve its mission through a 10-course program. Some of the course curriculum is delivered in talk sessions in individual and group settings. Between each program in the course, there is a recap session where participants can discuss what they learned in a non-repercussion environment.
Equine Assisted learning is proving to be a potent treatment modality suited for at-risk or disadvantaged youth. Studies have shown that spending time with horses can reduce levels of stress, hyper-arousal and more.
We offer top-quality programs that cater to both children and adults who would like to learn riding fundamentals and horsemanship skills in a safe, individualized environment.
Our program is provided for individuals who are completing community service for school, work, court, or a club. Community Service individuals assist employees with the daily duties at the Ranch, such as cleaning horse stalls (spreading wood shavings), maintaining and cleaning buckets, horse tack, blankets, unloading and stacking hay and feed, repairing fences, keeping grounds clean and other duties as assigned. Our programs are available 5 days a week for individuals 8 years and older.
